David Behar Perhaia ( http://www.davidbehar.net/ ) and I are exhibiting at Ticho House ( Jerusalem) from the 4.12 ( 19.30) our video - Motza. It is a video consisting of a split screen. on the left side i am drawing the landscape and on the right side a b/w view of the local nature. it was made as a certain tribute to Anna Ticho`s wonderful art work. it was done as part of a productive collaboration between us that started at 2007.

I was invited by friend Roy Kfir to give a lecture to his high school pupils next to my new outdoor work in Haifa - From here to there, Ofri Eshel took some wonderful photos of the lecture

I am happy to let you know of another outdoor project. it is in Haifa at Wadi Nisnas neighbourhood. I painted with my assistant blue veins flowing down the stairs leading into the neighborhood. it creates this kind of river.I thought of human beings detached from their land and searching for roots. it will be unveiled during a festival taking place in December which is a festival that creates a meeting point of the three religions.

( http://muslala.org/) כותב מתן באתר מוסללה במבט ראשון נראית העבודה "נקודת מפגש" כעוף מוזר בעולם הפיסול ואף במרחב האורבאני. קשה להבין מי יצק דיסקית בטון לבן במרכז שדה מוזנח ונטוש, אל מול חומות העיר העתיקה. מדוע שמישהו יטרח לסחוב שקים כבדים, כמויות של מים וחול ליציקה ומעבר לכך – מי יזכה לראות אותה ? אך ברגע שנרד לפרטי העבודה – נמצא שהיא עוסקת בהרחבת האופקים של פיסול ואף יש בה חזון לשינוי המרחב הציבורי. בכדי ליצור את העבודה, הזמין פיטר 10 ירושלמים לבחור נקודה מיוחדת להם, אותה הוא יעתיק יצרף ויחבר לאחרות ומהן יצור פלטה שקוטרה כ-2.5 מטר. את הנקודות שנבחרו, כמו צינורות מים, אבנים מיוחדות, גזע של עץ ואף פני אחד המשתתפים, פיטר ועוזרו אורי בצון כיסו בפלטות חימר גדולות – יוצרים הטבעה , מקבעים רגע נתון. אל ההטבעות שנוצרו יצקו בטון לבן ובהמשך חיברו את הכל בנקודת המפגש – אותו שדה נטוש. נקודת המפגש מנסה ללכוד רגע מסוים בזמן או אולי בחוויה הירושלמית. איחוד חוויות במרחב העירוני לנקודה אחת כמטאפורה לדיאלוג. הטכניקה בה נעשה שימוש, לה ניתן השם פוטו-פיסול (PHOTO-SCULPTING ) מ...
