1st December - Drawing Biennale, Jerusalem, ink, glass paint and tippex on paper (2005)

On the 1st of October I sang Solo at an evening dedicated to artists that sing, it was a lot of fun. I sang "Yove got a friend" improvised to an irish tune. I am actually going to make a cd with Gabu Kricheli, so if anyone wants to join in please make a contact. On the 10th i made a performance with David Behar Pherhia at the Anna Ticho Museum in Jerusalem. It was quite incredible. I will post photos shortly

Inspiration Moments of inspiration will become more common the more you sculpt. Sculpture is a welcoming gate for inspiration, thus, live your life as sculpture and you will live an inspired life. Inspiration is a moment where you look straight forward at the sun and you aren’t dazzled but actually see more. The intensity of light becomes concentrated and a moment of revelation is created. It is the revelation that all your existence lies on the horizon. A great effort is needed to reach this effortless moment. Only when you will become whole you will feel this uplifting, which is your personal sunrise. The path to reach an inspired moment begins when you open your eyes and realize that inspiration is all the time around us. It becomes part of you when you love. A sculptor that is aware of this can predict the moment the inspiration awakens within himself. Questioning In art every answer you receive is also the next question. Every sculpture you create is a question and also an answer

Have you ever held a lump of clay in your hand? The amount of pleasure one derives from just playing about with a lump of clay is most astounding, it is a sensual, constantly changing. The clay is playing a game with us, at times giving us the opportunity to mold it and at other times taking control. The basis to that enjoyment feeling one gets touching a material that is exterior to ones self. Why does one sculpt? As a Sculptor and a tutor I am constantly surprised at the large range of motivations to create sculpture. The most common type of motivation is expressing ones self through material but another profound motivation is to sculpt in order to relate to the world. though there are many others, such as sculpting for public purposes, investigating aesthetics, creating beautiful objects imitating nature and creating new environments. Some sculptors would answer “I just love doing things that have no use”. Using sculpture as a mean to relate to the world, using sculpture as a
